Pre Season Tour Update

Hi All,
As discussed with most of you we have 2 games scheduled down on the South Coast for the first bank holiday weekend in May.

It is just over 3 hours to drive from Windsor to Bovey Tracey therefore I suggest that we meet in Windsor around 830am on Sun morning then drive down with a view to starting a 45/45 game at 1pm. Bovey Tracey is about half way between Exeter and Torquay so we have a choice of where we want to stay on the Sunday night, both places have rooms available at the moment for around £20 per head.

On the Monday we will be looking to start a 40/40 game at midday, which should allow us to finish before 6pm.

There will not be any first xi fixture on Sat 5th May so the game on Sunday vs Bovey Tracey will be the last chance for people to press the claims for selection in the first league game of the season. The Monday game is open to all club members to play in and will be a genuine friendly affair.

With this in mind, anyone who wants to come down and just play on the Sunday then return home without staying the night is more than welcome to do so, as we have quite a few colts playing I am guessing there will be at least one car coming back on Sunday night. On the flip side any non first xi players who fancy coming down on Sunday, watching the game then heading out Sunday night on the lash will also be more than welcome!

I will need a firm yes or no answer from everyone by this Sunday so that we can lock in our fixtures and book accommodation, if you have any questions please let me know.
